Thakeham Community Hub – We Need Your Views!
On 23 June 2025, Thakeham Parish Council (TPC) voted to trial a Community Hub in the former Pre-school building.
Chanctonbury Community Land Trust (CCLT) has been invited to submit a competitive bid to run it.
As a Community Benefit Society, owned by local members and run solely for the good of Thakeham and surrounding parishes residents, CCLT believes it is well placed to manage the Hub – but we need your help to make it a success.
We already have many ideas for community services, but we want to hear from YOU because we do not presume to know precisely what Thakeham residents would want from a Community Hub. Tell us by completing a short ONLINE SURVEY, just click the button below. There's nothing to print or mail, just hit the submit button when you've finished the Survey.
CCLT will publish the results of the survey and our proposal here after Thakeham Parish Council review the competitive bids..
TPC have only given us until July 11th to submit our bid.
So please complete the survey as soon as possible. The more responses we get, the more relevant the services we can propose.
CCLT wants feedback from all family members, and we especially welcome younger residents views, so please get every family member who can do so to fill in the survey - one survey per person.
